On behalf of the entire Clovis Animal Services (CAS) team, welcome to the new CAS website! This website was built with several months of careful planning, many dedicated team members, and our community in mind. We are so proud to share this great new resource with you and have included several features to not only help our local pet owners but also our local stray animal population.
Here are five key features to explore:
1. Lost & Found Pet Listings
Under the “Lost & Found Animals” menu dropdown, you’ll find options to view lost and found animals in our community as well as those currently in our care at the Clovis Animal Receiving and Care Center. You can even view listings by location by visiting our Clovis Lost and Found Pet Map! Community members can now search through lost and found animals in one convenient location or post and manage their own lost and found listings by creating a free account.
2. Account Creation
Having an account allows you to easily post, edit, and renew lost and found listings. As an account holder, you’ll also be added to our mailing list and receive important updates from Animal Services on lost and found pets in your area and other key animal topics in our community. Click here to register now or register another time by clicking “Register” in the top right corner of the website.
3. Frequently Asked Questions
Under the “About CAS” menu dropdown, you’ll find options to learn more about Animal Services, our three teams and the services they provide, our mission to build a model community for animal care, and answers to our most frequently asked questions. We’ve included common questions on lost and found animals, rehoming your pet, city animal policy, services provided by CAS, pet licensing, and more. This is a great place to start if you have a question or to refer a friend for more information!
4. CAS Animal Care Blog
Under the “Resources” menu dropdown, you’ll find a few helpful resources for pet owners including our new CAS Animal Care Blog. This blog will highlight key animal topics in our city, offer helpful tips and guidance for pet owners, and cover important subjects in animal policy and animal care. More posts are coming soon, so be sure to keep an eye out!
5. How You Can Help
One of the most common questions we receive is simply, “how can I help?” You asked and we answered. Under our “How You Can Help” menu dropdown, you’ll find more information on volunteering with CAS. For more ways to help, sign up for our email newsletter on our homepage!
