If you're interested in adopting a new dog or cat, we have two options we want to share with you – both of which help animals in need!

Adopt from Miss Winkles

Clovis Animal Services has its own pet adoption center, Miss Winkles! If our Clovis Animal Receiving & Care Center is unable to reunite an animal with their owner, they are then brought to Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center to be put up for adoption and find a new home. Adoption fees are just $25 and all pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. The center is located at 85 Temperance Avenue in Clovis and is open Tuesday - Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM. To learn more and view pets currently available for adoption, visit

Adopt Home to Home

Did you know that adopting directly from a family is also an option and can still help pets in need? Many families have animals they can no longer care for and are seeking to rehome, and adopting one of these pets can help the pet transition directly from home to home without the assistance of an animal shelter or rescue. This is not only beneficial for the pet, but also for animal organizations with limited space. By adopting home to home, you leave a dog run open for another pet in need. The buttons below link to a few websites where you can apply to adopt a pet directly from its current home.
